Antwerp tram line to Wommelgem 10 years in use

Today marks exactly 10 years since the availability certificate for Livan was issued by client De Lijn, the Flemish public transport company.
The availability certificate for Livan led to the use of the pre-metro tunnel under Turnhoutsebaan and the tram line to Wommelgem (including a rapid tram to the Central Station in Antwerp). The €100 million infrastructure project was realized by Livan Infrastructure with De Lijn as the public shareholder and PMF as the private partner. The works, carried out by Denys NV, started in March 2013 and were completed two years later. In addition to the design, construction, and financing, Livan is also responsible for the maintenance of the infrastructure (via Denys Support).
